What makes Jacinda laugh

Since Jacinda isn't a newborn anymore, we have realized that she is a very happy baby! She laughs a lot now and it is the most precious thing! We love to hear her laugh! She not only laughs when you tickle her, but when we laugh. We were at the doctor one day and I held her on my lap facing me and we laughed back and forth for a good 5 minutes. I will treasure that day, it was so sweet! So, here are some videos of her laughing. It was getting close to bedtime, which is 6:3opm, so she wasn't laughing as hard as she normally would, but you'll still get the idea.

Chubby cheeks!! Who can resist them!?

... and crying. Jacinda has had the "girliest" cry since she was born. It is very high pitched and ear piercing, but so cute at the same time. This is of her just tired crying/complaining, so it isn't as intense.

February so far...

Well, Friday Jacinda had her very first visit to the pediatrician and all is well. She is now 13 lbs 6 oz., she is 24 inches long and her head is 16 1/2 inches in circumfrence. The doctor says she is in the 90th percentile for just about everything, which we pretty much expected since the babies born around the same time are only about 9-10 pounds. Here are some pictures of our growing girl.

Jacinda's New Trick

Last weekend Jacinda started clicking her tongue. At first, like many things, I thought it was a fluke, but then she kept doing it. Then she would watch our mouths when we did it. So, here is a video of her doing it. You hear me say, "Good job" because it took a lot of tries to get it on video. She seems to be camera shy and will often just stare at it. Today she also started a little laugh, but so far I haven't been able to get her to laugh at the same thing twice, so it'll probably be awhile before we get a video of that. We are so excited, we have been looking forward to hearing her little laughs and giggles.
