Mason Baby #2

Our first ultrasound with our midwife was on Wednesday which finally made this pregnancy feel real and the morning sickness and exhaustion seem worth it.
Jacinda enjoyed seeing Laura again, though it has been about 20 months since she's seen her. Jacinda looked very concerned about what Laura was doing to Mommy.

Happily playing with the 11 week old plastic baby.
Listening to Jacinda's heart on the doppler after we listened to the baby. We were very surprised we were able to hear the baby's hearbeat this early, but it was strong and very healthy.

For some reason I can't load the copy of the ultrasound picture, so here is some video we took of the ultrasound. The baby was very active and she said it looks more like an 11 week baby than a 10 week, so due date could be more like April 5, than 12. And since Jacinda was a week early, we may just have a March baby afterall.

What a Silly Girl!

I left the bathroom to get her towel and I came back to find she had two small rubber duckies' heads in her mouth. Later she put one entire one of those into her mouth!

Last Saturday Jeff and I heard Jacinda struggling in her toy room and this is what we found. Earlier she wanted the walker out to play the music and play with the other toys on it so Jeff set it up and put her baby doll in it. I guess she was just too curious.Trying to share the walker with her baby doll as you can tell since that was as far as she could get in and she was stuck.

On Labor Day we went to Christian's 4th Birthday party.

Isaiah, Grandma and Great-Grandma

Yesterday when Jeff was mowing the lawn he found this caterpillar.Deciding if she wanted to touch it or not.

The news interviewed a man who makes his weather predictions based on nature and he said that the longer the furry caterpillars fur, the colder and wetter the winter will be. This one had some pretty long fur! AND, as it turns out it is snowing today in Monument and higher elevations. I heard there were snowflakes in the air at church, but so far just rain at our house. Today is the last day of summer!! Guess we won't have fall this year.

Labor Day- Balloon Classic

Bright and early in the morning, right when we got to the park. Jacinda was watching the ducks and geese in the lake.

This year we took my parents with us for their very first time at the balloon classic. It seems we were always camping or taking someone to college over Labor Day, so it was time!
Oh look, William was there too... trying to get a better shot than me...He succeeded that time!

This was about all the balloons that lifted that day since we had a weather delay. But, we were so glad they did, better than getting up at 4:45am for nothing!

The first balloon to attempt to touch down in the lake. It didn't make it the first time, so he came back for another go.

My two goofballs

Our friends and former neigbors, Chad and Holly, who got us to go for the first time last year. Next year they'll have a little one to bring along as they are expecting a baby boy in December.

August Photo Catch-up

The biggest hailstorm at our house this summer. When cars drove by they left tracks in the hail.
Luckily my car did not have any damage.

Trying on Daddy's shoes
One of our huge rainstorms in July. I didn't know we had a swimming pool!
