Bright and early in the morning, right when we got to the park. Jacinda was watching the ducks and geese in the lake.
This year we took my parents with us for their very first time at the balloon classic. It seems we were always camping or taking someone to college over Labor Day, so it was time!
Oh look, William was there too... trying to get a better shot than me...He succeeded that time!
This was about all the balloons that lifted that day since we had a weather delay. But, we were so glad they did, better than getting up at 4:45am for nothing!

Our friends and former neigbors, Chad and Holly, who got us to go for the first time last year. Next year they'll have a little one to bring along as they are expecting a baby boy in December.
