Zach and Meg's Wedding

Today Jacinda and I attended some friends' wedding at the Cadet Chapel. It was gorgeous! It was the first wedding I have attended inside the main chapel.
Here Jacinda is still happy and waiting before the wedding started.
You're probably noticeing that Jacinda has her oxygen off. No, she isn't totally better yet, but I have been leaving her off some each day as they say they can grow very dependent on it. But, today it was more so I didn't have it to lug around. Her saturation levels this week were higher than last, 85-87, and that was being off an hour. Yay!

Right when it was time to be quiet at the beginning, Jacinda started getting tired and verbal. Every little sound she made sounded like it was amplified, so we went to the back. But, thanks to her I was able to get some great pictures like this one!

Happy Father's Day!!

We hope all of you first-time fathers had a great Father's Day, enjoying all the BBQs, picnics, and of course the little hugs and smiles from the little one you treasure so dear!

More firsts...

On Saturday, Jacinda and I went grocery shopping and this was her first ride in the cart sitting up! She was wide-eyed through the whole store and didn't make a sound. She looked around and wouldn't even look at Mommy, which is abnormal because normally she doesn't take her eyes off me. Here she is looking around me at some people in the aisle.
What did we do before camera phones?! :)

Sunday, my aunt Sharon and cousin Kevin were visiting from Portland and so Grandma coerced me into giving Jacinda her first pickle. These aren't just any pickles though, they are home canned and SUPER YUMMY! Jacinda LOVED the pickle! She made her normal, "What is this you are giving me?" face, but then just kept on gumming it and leaned in to get more. Just like mommy, she loves her pickles! If any of you don't know, my two favorite foods are pickles and ice cream, but NOT TOGETHER!! THAT's GROSS! Ironically, I did not have that many pickles while I was pregnant though because I had such horrible heartburn they didn't sound good most of the time.
Swinging outside at Grandma and Grandpa's house. She was laughing so hard, it was super cute. This picture you can get a good look at her first tooth and her second coming in right behind it!
Meeting her Great-Aunt Sharon for the first time. Jacinda can't wait to go to Portland to meet Great-Uncle Gary, Jasmine and Keeko! We hope that it won't be too far away.

Happy 30th Birthday, Jeff!

Today is Jeff's 30th Birthday! We celebrated the day by sleeping in (only by the birthday boy really since Jacinda had me up at 6am), having Jeff's favorite lunch, Taco Bell, and having ice cream cake! YUMMY! We also finally got Jacinda a big girl car seat and ended up going back and exchanging it for a different one.
Jacinda had another check-up on Friday and there were no changes in her lungs, so she remains on oxygen. They are going to have someone come to the house to do puls-ox tests and start weining her from the oxygen to see how she does. Her upper gi test is on Friday at 1:00pm, so if you think of it please pray. This will tell us if she has Morgagni's Hernia or not.

Today Jacinda tried yogurt, she liked it ok.
Trying out the car seat we took back. It pushed her neck forward and didn't look comfortable.

Our little rocker baby. Jeff got this card from his co-workers with the song, "Bad to the Bone" and this is Jacinda's first reaction to it. She LOVED it! We kept opening it later and she would just kick and wiggle like crazy!
