The past month

As you can tell from the pictures, Jacinda really enjoys feeding herself with a spoon now. This was probably the messiest she has gotten. I still feed her some fruit and veggie baby food just to make sure she's getting those nutrients because she is still pretty picky when it comes to our food. Tonight she ate some broccoli and cauliflower, but is was in a cheese sauce. She is starting to ask for our fruit now, which is a good sign! The last three mornings she has asked for banana and ate about 3-4 bites, but is still not her favorite.

We have really enjoyed the mild winter and being able to go to the park a lot. She loves going down the slide by herself. Don't you love static electicity? As you'll see in the video below, she is definitely not going fast.

She can now say, yuv you" and it is the cutest thing ever!! Jeff has a great video on his phone of her saying it that we will try to upload soon. Though not necessarily always understandable, she will repeat just about anything. The one word we are stumped on is "deo" she calls all lights, "deo." We'll say, "light" and she'll repeat it sounding more like light, so we are stumped! She is already starting to repeat the ABCs which is amazing to me! She gets to E, I think, which is easy since C, D and E sound pretty similar. She stops until M and N and then will repeat a few, skip Q, say a few more and then be silent untiil after I say, "... next time won't you sing with me?" and then she says, "ABC?" My cue to say it again.

She has found her first security item. It is her stuffed little ducky. He is very cute and we bought him way back the day we went to the cardiologist. At the store she loved on him, we bough it and that was it until now. So, it may sound funny, but we were happy about that. Most mornings she will not get out of her crib without him and a couple mornings she'll bring her taggie blanket too, which she has never cared for much either. So, that's fun when she insists on holding them both while you try to change her diaper and get her dressed.

And, of course another super cute thing she started last weekend, was her fishy face. I started teasing her with my fishy face getting her fingers or her cheeks and then one day I made the face while she was eating, so here is the video. Sorry for the moving around.
