Mother's Day & 18 month Well Baby

Jacinda loves to climb. Her favorite thing to do is climb up and down the step stool in the kitchen. Even though she has gotten stuck a few times, it does keep her busy while I am cooking dinner and she seems to be more open to trying food when I give it to her there... Hmm...

She loves being outside and exploring. Since we live in a cul-de-sac, we let her walk up and down the driveway and into the street a little. She loves to go get the mail and asks for the keys when we get to the box. She likes putting the keys inside the package spots in the bottom because she gets to open and close the door. She is very reluctant to leave the mailbox every day and will often trick my by agreeing to head back to the house but then quickly turning and running back towards the boxes. It usually ends in me carrying her home crying.
Sorry for the blury pictures. I realized later that there were little tiny fingerprints on the lens. :-)

Yesterday Jacinda had her 18 mo well baby check up and she is doing great! She is 25 pounds and 32 inches tall. She still has a very large head at 19 1/2 inches! (challenging to find a cute toddler hat, by the way) We saw a new doctor and he said Jacinda's lungs sound great and that she very well could have seasonal allergies that is causing her to breath a little fast, but that at this age it is very hard to test. He suggested we try Zyrtec and see if it makes a difference to her breathing after a few days. She is still meeting her milestones like a champ and impressing the doctor with how well she follows directions. She seemed to like the male doctor a little better, at least she smiled and talked to him.
