Wow, it has been awhile! Not sure what we've been up to that has kept me away for so long! We've been busy, but don't have many pictures to show for it! We've been working on projects, getting the last few things settled and just enjoying all the space we have.
Jacinda is 21 months old today! I can't believe it! In just three short months she'll be two! She's been learning new vocabulary every day and seems to talk in short sentences all the time now. We're not sure how much other people can understand her, but she's saying something all the time.
She said the sweetest thing the other day. We were eating dinner and after a few bites she said, "Yummy, mommy." My heart melted! I can't believe she is starting to think things like this on her own already, amazing! She really is a funny girl and quite humorous. I love that! She is always making us smile... ok, most of the time!
Here's a story to make her Great-Uncle Jerry proud: The other night at dinner we were having brats and so we had a container of raw onion slices out and she went to grab one, so Jeff started to stop her but I said to let her try it. She then proceeded to ask for about 3-4 slices more of raw onion only wincing at the very first bite.
She can now count to 10, she knows most her colors and shapes, my favorite is "nymon" (diamond) and runner up... "dah-dee dough" (triangle). We are at 'F' in the alphabet and only have one month to work on it so she can match Uncle William being able to say it the whole way through at 22 months. But, no rush, she still has 3 more years until school. :)
She now really enjoys dancing and singing along to Dora and Sesame Street. My absolute favorite is the Baby Crab Dora episode where they dance like crabs. They snap their hands like crabs and sing, "Move your body, (something in Spanish), move your body just like a crab." So out of the blue she'll hold her hands up and sing, "Body, body." So CUTE!
Not so great milestone is she has also starting to stall. At bedtime she'll ask for countless more hugs and kisses so we don't leave her. Or will ask for water or juice or just start being super cute so we won't put her to bed yet.
I will upload recent pictures very soon!

Onions, huh? That's interesting. She can already count to ten? How sweet she is!
