9 mo Well Baby, 6 weeks late

Monday we had Jacinda's 9 mo well baby check up, 6 weeks late, but she is doing GREAT! She is 22 pounds and still 28.5 inches tall. So, she hasn't grown much since July, but I think that is because her body is focusing on all the other milestones, like crawling, standing and walking. The doctor said that she wants Jacinda's O2 saturation level to be consistent above 92%, to make sure that she is above 90% while she is sleeping. Once she has been at 92% consistently, then we can do the overnight observation to see if she can come off officially. You can tell that she feels like she has a lot more freedom without it, so we are getting very impatient. Especially when they have said for months, "just be above 90%."

One of Jacinda's recent discoveries is seeing herself and me in the safety thingie (the technical term.) She squeels and waits for me to see her and then laughs and smiles. The other thing she finds funny is closing the drain when I'm trying to drain the water. So cute!!!

Awww!!! We bought this chair for Jacinda as an early first birthday present and it is super cute! We thought it would be a good height for her to pull herself up by while she learns to get around. So far, Polar has had more use out of it than Jacinda. But, I made Polar share. Polar is so patient with Jacinda and puts up with all her torture. Polar's tail is one of Jacinda's favorite toys! Polar kind of looks mad here, but she's not... she purs and purs and purs!
Jacinda's teachers in childcare told me that Jacinda loves bouncy balls, so we bought her one this weekend and we discovered she can play ball.
