Progress

Well, it seems Jacinda came down with a little cold this week, so I dreaded her O2 check this morning. I thought for sure that it would set her back. Alas, after last weeks exciting 87%, she was still at 87% today. They said that if she didn't have a cold this week she would probably be at 89%. So, we are praying that next week when is over the cold she'll be at 90% or above and we can get her off the oxygen.

It has been my prayer for almost 4 months now, that she would be off before she's fully mobile, so that would be a HUGE answer to prayer if she can be off in the next couple weeks. She is not quite crawling, but she is right there. She just needs to make it over her other leg and she'll be gone! I'm pretty sure that walking will be very soon too. She loves standing and she has very good balance. She can stand without help longer and longer every day. She is also getting more brave every day and will let go of our hands or the couch sooner and more often.

Her personality is developing more and more every day as well. She is happy, smiley and silly about 95% of the time. The only time she isn't smiling is when she's really hungry and tired... and now when we make her stop trying to crawl or stand to do horrible things like change her diaper, get dressed or change to jammies. It seems like she has quite the temper and if she's ovelyr tired then she will often hold her breath and pass out on us. Coincidentally she's been doing this for 4 months as well. The first time was at her 1st chest x-ray and then now it is just random times when she's overly tired.
